This 53-year-old patient, who carries the high-risk BRCA2+ breast cancer gene, chose to undergo a preventative double mastectomy with implant-based reconstruction. She had a nipple-sparing mastectomy with immediate placement of 740cc high-projection silicone “gummy bear” implants. Three months later, she underwent a revision surgery to upsize the implants and add fat transfer to enhance the breast contour. These photos show her results before surgery and eight months postoperatively, following both the initial and revision procedures.
