What to Wear After Your Surgical Procedure in Austin, TX

These garments can help to minimize swelling and discomfort after your procedure and ensure that your body heals properly.
Post-Operative Support Bras
If you’ve undergone a cosmetic or reconstructive breast surgery, you’ll be instructed to wear special support bras while you recover.
- It is recommended that you have at least two bras at home ready for you after your surgery.
- Bras should open in the front.
- Order a bra two inches larger than your usual size due to swelling after your surgery.
Post-Operative Abdominal Binders
After undergoing a tummy tuck, abdominal liposuction, or a mommy makeover, you may need to wear post-operative abdominal binders during recovery.
- It is recommended that you have at least two abdominal binders at home ready for you after your surgery.
- Low height (9-inch) is recommended.
