After meeting with your doctor, you will receive a written pricing summary that includes all costs related to the procedure, including the surgeon's fees, facility and anesthesia fees, post-operative garments, all follow-up visits, and coverage by CosmetAssure.
CosmetAssure is a supplemental insurance policy that provides financial coverage to patients undergoing cosmetic plastic surgery in the unlikely event of a medical complication not covered by their primary insurance.
Please note that the procedure time is estimated at the consultation, but occasionally, more time is required to achieve an optimal result. In these cases, it is possible that there will be an additional charge for longer anesthesia time. However, there would be no additional surgeon charge for a longer procedure time.
The outside fees that a patient may incur are related to required anesthesia-protocol lab work and an EKG test and/or mammogram if undergoing breast surgery. All labs, EKG tests, and mammogram requirements for surgery are dependent on age and the date of the last test the patient has undergone.
