Dr. Brent Egeland

Dr. Brent Egeland completed his residency at the highly regarded University of Michigan Integrated Plastic Surgery program. Throughout his career, he has received numerous awards for research and teaching, including the Medical Society Bronze Beeper Award for Top 10 Resident Teacher and the Michigan Academy of Plastic Surgeons Best Scientific Presentation. Dr. Egeland primarily focuses on trauma and microsurgical and oncologic reconstruction. After completing a fellowship in Hand and Microsurgery at the Mayo Clinic, Dr. Egeland moved to Austin, TX, where he has practiced since 2012.

Dr. Galen Wachtman

Dr. Galen Wachtman is a board-certified plastic surgeon with a specialized practice in microsurgery. He completed both his residency in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and his fellowship in Orthopedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. While there, Dr. Wachtman was honored with membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society, won the Charles E. Moore Award for resident teaching, and received a research fellowship from the Plastic Surgery Education Foundation for his work in composite tissue allotransplantation. In 2016, Dr. Wachtman was named by his peers to the Texas Super Doctor® Rising Star list for the second year in a row.

Dr. Claude-Jean Langevin

Dr. Claude-Jean Langevin is a fellowship-trained and double board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon who practiced in Florida and California before coming to Austin. He specializes in aesthetic plastic surgery, complex reconstruction, and craniofacial and pediatric surgery. He received his medical degree at the Weill Medical College of Cornell University and completed a comprehensive Plastic and Reconstructive Surgical fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.

Dr. Langevin also pursued a fellowship in Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. While in Los Angeles, Dr. Langevin served on the faculty at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with an academic appointment at the University of Southern California, where he trained plastic surgery residents, microvascular fellows, and general surgery and orthopedic residents. He has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals, presented at national professional meetings, and has co-authored multiple plastic surgery book chapters.
